An Exciting Morning!!

When we came into school this morning Herman had some very exciting news for us! He told us that over the weekend something extraordinary happened at Blandford St Mary Primary School! He heard lots of thunder and lightening and another noise too... but he didn't know what it was! So we put on our coats and went to investigate! We checked the playground but there was nothing unusual there. We checked the astro turf but there was nothing unusual there. We checked the woodland trail and we found an egg! It was a precious, speckled egg that was much bigger than a chicken's egg! We carefully brought it back into the classroom and weighed it! It only weighed 150grams. We decided we should keep the egg warm so we have put it into some warm water and made it feel at home with some sticks and some leaves. In English we wrote lists about what might be inside our mystery egg, we've had some super ideas!

We can't wait to find out what it is or who it belongs to!
